Infrastructure Support Engineer (IT Infrastructure Support, Windows Server) – Inside IR35, £300 per day, 3 months possible extension.

An Infrastructure Support Engineer (IT Infrastructure Support , Windows Server) is required by a well-established organisation in South Killingholme (DN40), working in a hands-on, enterprise IT environment.

To be considered for this Infrastructure Support Engineer (IT Infrastructure Support , Windows Server) role, you’ll need:

Strong enterprise infrastructure support experience
Hands-on Windows Server, SQL Server, and Active Directory
Physical server build experience
Solid networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, DMZ essential)
2nd Line / Infrastructure Support background in ITIL environmentsBased in the office 5 days per week, you’ll support servers, networks, and cloud platforms, handling incidents, monitoring systems, and carrying out root cause fixes. You’ll work across Windows/Linux, AD, SQL, virtualisation (VMware/Hyper-V), and Azure/AWS, alongside backup, DR, and security tasks. You’ll also support projects, upgrades, and automation.

The shift pattern is 08:00 – 16:30 Mon-Thursday, and 08:00 – 15:30 on a Friday.
