Job Overview

My client is a dynamic private managed service provider, backed by a key investor with interests in property, hospitality, and workspace sectors. The organisation is rapidly growing through mergers and acquisitions, allowing them to offer innovative solutions and services to a diverse clientele.

The business is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their evolving team. This role is pivotal to ensuring our IT infrastructure is robust, secure, and efficient. You will work closely with various stakeholders, support teams, and a third-party managed service provider to maintain and enhance their IT operations. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to cutting-edge projects across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and troubleshoot physical hardware issues in collaboration with the support team
Provide advanced troubleshooting for unresolved hardware issues
Assist in the transition from Google to Microsoft SharePoint
Oversee access control systems and CCTV integration
Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
Configure and manage Meraki on-premises and cloud networks
Act as a key point of contact for shareholders and senior management
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and address IT-related concerns
Provide technical support and training to internal staff and stakeholders
Work closely with the third-party MSP to ensure smooth IT operations
Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and AzureKey Qualifications & Skills

Technical Skills:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Azure
Experience with network management, including Meraki and CCTV systems
Familiarity with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions
Knowledge of Access Control Systems Soft Skills:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Comfortable engaging with stakeholders and providing user supportDesirable:

Willingness to learn new technologies and systems (e.g., CCTV and access control)
Experience in managed service environments is a plusIdeal Candidate

The perfect candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft technologies, particularly Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Azure. You should possess excellent communication skills, be comfortable interacting with shareholders and stakeholders, and have the ability to work collaboratively with a third-party MSP.
