Infrastructure Engineer – £37K – £39K

Resonsibilities:

The day to day monitoring, maintenance and upkeep of the businesses IT Infrastructure including:

You will be acting as an escalation point from the IT Support Officers
Deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting Linux and Windows servers and desktop computers
Working within an IT support team and effectively managing end-user tickets through a helpdesk involves several key responsibilities and best practices.
To work within the Team to support and maintain the on-premises infrastructure, including Active Directory, Group Policy, Hyper-V hypervisor, network switches, firewall, wireless and wired networks, IP telephone system, etc., and carrying out physical installation and patching of IT equipment
To support the deployment of new hardware, software, and infrastructure

Skillset requirements:

Windows Server
Office 365
Windows 10/11
Active Directory
Group Policy
DNS / DHCP
Hyper-V
VoIP
PC / Server Hardware
Network Infrastructure
IIS

Desireable:

Comp TIA
Microsoft Certification
Cisco Certification
Other relevant IT Training

Personal qualities:

Willing to learn
Use own initiative / Self-motivated
Ability to work with other staff as a team
Good communication skills
Good organisational skills
