Information Security Architect.
Are you seeking a challenging, interesting & varied role as an Information Security Architect in a complex technical environment?
This is an opportunity to join a company (a market leader in their sector) who use technology to improve its service to its customers. As such they need an Information Security Architect to lead & ensure the correct Information Security Architecture is in place to meet the threats of today & tomorrow.
This is a permanent role, & the client is based in London, there will be a great deal of remote working with some travel to the London office as lockdown eases & work requires. This will be circa 1 day a week / 1 day every 2 weeks.
You'll need to understand the strategic side of Information Security Architecture to review against & ensure that the architecture & environment in place meets the business needs of the current business strategy & can be adapted to meet new threats as they arise.
On a technical side you will use your knowledge of Information Security Architecture to understand from an architecture point the tools, system protocols & data design, applying that to the security design, ensuring a Cloud Data Application system focus from a security view is front & centre.
You'll be ensuring any risk associated to changes to meet new threats is assessed to understand the impact & make sure it is done correctly. You'll liaise with the other architects & the wider IT team to make sure that changes you want to occur, happen.
Title: Information Security Architect.
Location: London / Remote Working.
Start Date: ASAP client will wait for the right person.
Salary: c£70,000 – £75,000 per annum + pension + generous holiday allowance, insurance
Duration: Permanent full time Role.
You have a track record as an security architect with a good understanding of Information Security Architecture within a cloud environment (ideally Azure but AWS or Google will be OK). Training is available for the right person who has some but not all of the experience required.
You need to understand & be continually developing your knowledge on security, threats & Information Security best practise, such as Zero Trust, to be aware of current technology & new ideas as they come along.
