Our client is a rapidly growing, technology-driven organisation operating within the automotive services sector. Backed by private equity investment, the business is focused on scaling its digital capabilities and delivering innovative products that improve operational efficiency and customer experience across a nationwide network.

Technology and product development are central to their growth strategy, and they are investing heavily in building a strong product function that can deliver clear commercial outcomes. This role will play a key part in shaping the product direction, working closely with senior leadership and customers to ensure the roadmap delivers measurable value.

The organisation operates a remote-first working model, with occasional travel to UK sites, customers, and key operational locations to gain deeper product insight and maintain close stakeholder relationships.

How you’ll spend your day

As Head of Product, you will take ownership of the product strategy and roadmap across a portfolio of digital solutions that support both internal operations and customer-facing services.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Defining and delivering a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with business objectives and board-level priorities

* Managing senior stakeholders across the organisation and confidently representing the product function in customer and leadership discussions

* Translating business goals into structured product strategies and deliverable roadmaps

* Working closely with operational teams and customers to gain real-world insight into product usage and improvement opportunities

* Ensuring product initiatives deliver measurable commercial value in a private-equity backed environment

* Collaborating with product owners and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent product delivery and continuous improvement

* Supporting the development and mentoring of members of the product team where required

* Identifying opportunities for innovation, including the potential use of AI and machine learning technologies

The role will involve a mix of remote working and occasional travel across the UK, including visits to operational sites and customers to better understand how products are used in practice.

What you’ll bring to this role

We’re looking for a confident and commercially minded product leader who can balance strategy with delivery and engage effectively with stakeholders at every level.

Key experience and skills include:

* Proven experience owning and delivering product roadmaps aligned with business objectives

* Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to present product strategy to senior leadership and customers

* Experience working within fast-paced or private equity-backed environments where delivery and measurable outcomes are essential

* Ability to translate operational challenges into clear product solutions and prioritised initiatives

* Strong communication skills and the ability to bring teams together around a shared product vision

* A proactive, collaborative mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence when required

Desirable experience:

* Previous experience in the automotive, mobility, insurance, or operational services sectors

* Experience leading or mentoring product team members

* Exposure to AI or machine learning technologies within product development environments

This role would suit someone looking to step into a Head of Product position or an existing product leader seeking a role with greater ownership and strategic influence.
