As a Graduate Software Engineer, you'll embark on a 2-year scheme aimed at honing your software engineering skills and practical application of theory. Collaborate with experienced mentors, engage in regular reviews, and partake in a comprehensive training program designed by our Senior Management Team. You'll leverage your technical expertise to provide innovative solutions, focusing on Open Systems Architectures and Principles. Day-to-day, you'll be an integral part of a team dedicated to creating software solutions for diverse maritime challenges, requiring effective communication, strong teamwork, and the ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic environment that involves both UK and overseas travel.
We're seeking candidates on track for a degree in software engineering or related disciplines, with a strong grasp of Open Systems Architectures and Principles. Proficiency in software tools like Java FX, Java, Netbeans, Eclipse, C++, Visual Studio, HMI design, information assurance, software testing, Atlassian Toolset, UML, and Enterprise Architect for system/software design would be advantageous.
