Title: Frontend Engineer
Package: Up to £75,000 + benefits
Location: Remote first (Cambridge, UK once per month)

Job Role
SoCode Recruitment is hiring for a tech-for-good machine learning company. This company is using machine learning to analyse specialist medical data for terminally ill patients. The idea is to predict how long patients have left to live and then suggest the best non-invasive treatment path. On average patients have 4 years to live from diagnosis and the treatments are incredibly invasive, meaning that a lot of patients opt out of treatment – our client's platform is directly giving terminally ill patients a better quality of life.
       
We are seeking a seasoned frontend engineer who would want to join an elite team of data scientists, machine learning engineers, and software engineers. You will need to take ownership of the frontend of their cloud platform, leading the architecture and development while also working closely alongside their existing team of full-stack engineers.

Requirements

5+ years' experience in software development.
Proficiency in TypeScript, React, and GraphQL.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a STEM subject from a respected university.
Demonstrated experience in building maintainable, testable, and well-documented code.
Previous experience utilizing CI/CD.
Familiarity using Scrum/Agile development methodologies
