Role: Finance Assistant

Location: Leicestershire

Working Arrangement: Full-Time | Fully Onsite

Salary: Up to £30,000

The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll play a vital part in managing sales and accounts across multiple business entities. You’ll be trusted with maintaining accurate financial records, supporting cashflow through effective credit control, and ensuring smooth day-to-day finance operations.

This is a hands-on position where no two days are the same — perfect for someone who enjoys responsibility, variety, and working closely with senior finance leadership.

Key Responsibilities

* Managing and maintaining the debtors ledger across multiple entities

* Processing and raising sales invoices using QuickBooks

* Handling credit control and customer account queries

* Posting and reconciling sales receipts and bank transactions

* Maintaining sales and purchase ledgers

* Credit card analysis and reconciliations

* Intercompany invoicing and postings

* Supporting month-end processes and ad hoc projects

* Providing cover within the finance team when required

About You

You’ll be organised, proactive, and comfortable working with numbers and systems. You’ll take pride in accuracy and enjoy being a reliable point of contact for both colleagues and customers.

You’ll ideally have:

* Experience using QuickBooks

* Strong Excel skills

* Previous experience in a busy finance environment

* Excellent attention to detail

* Strong communication skills

* A collaborative, team-focused approach

* Confidence working across multiple entities
