£600 per day (umbrella)

Full Time Contract (8 months)

Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a DevOps Engineer in Exeter. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.

The job:

Supporting the developer teams using the API Management Service
Providing technical advice to internal users of the system
Automating support processes to reduce administrative overhead
Assisting testing and peer reviews of technical delivery
Sharing knowledge with other team members

The candidate:

Must have an active Security Clearance
Experience with Git / GitHub and the Atlassian toolset (JIRA and Confluence)
Demonstrable knowledge of using Amazon AWS services including Lambda, EC2, VPC (networking) and experience of the AWS CodePipeline
Proficient in Python and Linux shell scripting (i.e. Bash)
A working knowledge of REST APIs using an API Management solution (e.g. WSO2, Apigee) is desirable
