I am searching for a Data Migration Analyst/Officer to join a Doncaster based Housing Association's IT team on a Temp-Perm basis starting in April.
To support the delivery of the data migration workstream of The One Project (TOP) for the cleanse and transfer of legacy data to a new system.
To be responsible for the preparation, extraction, profiling, quality check, design, mapping, construct, transform and load of datasets from a number of legacy systems across the organisation to the new OPENHousing solution.
Work in a project team focussing on the data migration aspect of system implementation for The One Project and implementation of a new Housing Management IT system.
Checking for gaps in datasets and working with the various business functions to remediate.
Produce reports / dashboards to monitor data migration quality and progress.
Construction of combined datasets in preparation for data loading.
Transformation of data types to support data load files.
Creation of migration documentation to support the data migration work stream.
Assist in preparation of upgrade and migration scripts for bulk data, XML / SQL
Assist in designing, planning and managing the data migration process.
Perform source system data analysis in order to manage source to target data mapping.
Perform migration and testing of static data and transaction data from one core system to another.
To work flexibly across the ICT Team by supporting the delivery of efficient and effective IT services to the organisation, as required by the ICT Services Manager.
To produce and/ or contribute to the production of progress reports to Project Board and Digital Transformation Programme Board. IT Steering Group and EMT.
The successful Candidate will:
Be able to evidence continuous professional development
Have a BTEC or equivalent Level 3 qualification in PRINCE 2 Foundation or similar
Have stong knowledge of Microsoft SQL and Server Management Studio including SSIS
Have experience developing and maintaining code
Have knowledge of ETL
Have experience in extraction scripts, data quality reporting, Data Migration Testing and creating scripts
Have experience of developing and implementing ICT systems and of working with large complex data migrations
