The role

The purpose of this role is to be responsible for the data integrity and accuracy of asset management databases and other relevant systems relating to Orbits Net Zero Carbon (NZC) strategy. To develop systems and produce timely performance and monitoring information reports and data for internal use and external returns. 

To design, deliver and manage a high-quality data management proposition and delivering accurate, timely and relevant management information and genuine portfolio performance insight.

This role is part of Customer & Communities where you'll help us to lead the way keeping our promise to more than 100,000 customers.

What you'll achieve

Create and maintain an accurate database in relation to NZC and provide accurate data and real insight that can be used to support the production of bids and identification of NZC programmes of work in conjunction with other members of the COPs Team

To ensure that the asset management information system and other relevant databases and systems are updated with data collected via dwelling assessments and retrofit property completions making accessible to appropriate staff.  To be responsible for checking the accuracy of the data providing analysis and reports

Generate accurate asset management related performance indicators and reports, which enable managers to assess performance, benchmark against other organisations and support continuous improvement of the service to customers

To develop and maintain systems to help generate accurate costed schedules of net zero carbon works for programme delivery and/or bid applications

To develop the asset management data systems to provide accurate reports to monitor progress towards relevant legal and regulatory obligations and targets and provide accurate returns to the Group, Government, Tenant Services Authority and lenders as required

What you'll bring

Essential skills

Ability to analyse complex data and draw out key points

Excellent ability to set up Excel spreadsheets/databases, manipulate and analyse data to produce reports to provide information to enable the planning process to be undertaken

Experience of using a range of I.T. packages (including Excel, Access, Word etc.)

Relevant degree, HND or equivalent or able to demonstrate extensive relevant experience

English and mathematics GCSE (or equivalent) Grade 6 or above

Desirable skills

Experience in using Parity Projects is beneficial but not essential as training will be provided

A good understanding of EPC data and/or qulified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) would be beneficial
