Cabling Engineer
📍 Location: Candidate will be based locally Milton Keynes
💼 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
💰 Salary: £26,000-£29,000 + Overtime Opportunities

✅ What You’ll Do
* Install and terminate data/network cabling across multiple categories
* Perform cable pulls and installations to industry standards
* Read and follow technical drawings and documentation
* Install containment systems and network cabinets
* Assist with cable testing and certification
* Document work and help maintain project records
* Support senior engineers on larger projects

* Basic understanding of structured cabling systems
* Familiarity with different cable types and standards
* Ability to interpret technical instructions
* Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
* Awareness of basic health & safety principles
* Attention to detail and pride in quality work
* Strong communicator with a team-first attitude
* Problem-solving mindset and willingness to adapt
🌟 Nice to Have
* Valid CSCS or ECS card
* Entry-level experience with cable installation tools
* Basic IT/networking knowledge
* Understanding of cable standards and protocols
