About the Role

We are partnering with a leading financial services client to recruit a Data Analyst for a 12-month initial contract. This role focuses on leveraging data analysis to optimize API usage and lifecycle management within the organization. Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting:

* Utilize tools such as SQL, Tableau, and Excel to analyze datasets, providing clear and actionable insights.

* Generate reports and dashboards to communicate key findings to stakeholders effectively.

API Lifecycle Management:

* Analyze API usage data to understand adoption trends and identify areas for improvement.

* Work with API lifecycle management platforms like Apigee and Postman to assess performance and functionality.

* Apply knowledge of API governance, OpenAPI specifications, and metadata management to support API strategies.

Strategic Insights:

* Develop insights into catalogue usage patterns to demonstrate value and guide decision-making.

* Collaborate with technical teams to present findings and recommendations that drive business outcomes.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential:

* Experience with data analysis tools, including SQL, Tableau, and Excel.

* Familiarity with API lifecycle management platforms such as Apigee and Postman.

* Strong understanding of API governance, OpenAPI specifications, and metadata management.

* Proven ability to interpret API usage data and deliver actionable insights.
