Cyber Security Lead/Manager

Location: Dublin (Hybrid – minimum 2 days onsite)

Overview

Our client is looking to hire a Cyber Security Lead or Manager to support the development of their security capability across the organisation. This is a newly created role and will be the first in this team, providing an opportunity to help coordinate and strengthen security practices across multiple IT functions.

The role will work directly with the IT Director and will play a key part in security operations, incident response, and security governance, while working closely with internal teams and external partners.

This position would suit someone with a strong technical security background who is ready to make the step up.

Key Responsibilities

Support and coordinate security operations and incident response activities

Investigate and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities

Work closely with internal IT teams across service desk, cloud, operations, data, and project delivery

Leverage and manage Microsoft security tooling within Azure and Microsoft 365 environments

Contribute to the development and implementation of security frameworks and best practices

Work with external consultancies and security partners where required

Help bring structure and coordination to security activities across the wider IT function

Key Requirements

Approximately 5+ years’ experience within cyber security or security operations

Strong experience with:

Security Operations

Incident Response

Security Investigations

Experience working with Microsoft security tooling, particularly within Azure and Microsoft 365 environments

Familiarity with security frameworks and best practice standards

Strong technical understanding of security operations and threat investigation

Ability to work cross-functionally and engage with multiple stakeholders
