Cloud Engineer, Manchester, competitive salary
One of the key Clients of Harvey Nash is currently looking for a Cloud Engineer, to join their ambitious team on a permanent basis.
The business is going through a digital transformation globally that includes all aspects of IT: end-user compute through to migrating and transforming IT services into Microsoft Azure.
With that in mind, you will work closely with Cloud Architect and Security Architect to support with transformation program.
Your key responsibilities:
Lead on build, test and implementation of IT services on the cloud either working with outsourced 3rd parties or developing in internally.
Work with the Cloud Architect to develop backlog items both short- and long-term.
Support with IT transformation projects with the migration to Azure.
Recommend and coordinate the implementation of technical controls to support, enforce and evidence defined security policies.
Build and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (ARM or Terraform).
Drive communication, awareness and training for audiences.Your key experience and skills:
Experience of working within a large corporate environment delivering solutions subject to audit.
Relevant Microsoft qualifications – AZ-103 highly desirable.
Experience of working with Agile / SCRUM methodologies.
Experience of working with Azure DevOps, pipelines and code repositories.
Experience of working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – ARM or Terraform.
Experience of using Service as a software (SaaS).
Have strong communication and influencing skills and the ability to build relationships.
Have excellent planning and organisational skills.
