Role: C++ Developer – Unreal Engine.

Location: Birmingham, West Midlands.

Salary:£45,000 – £55,000.

Our client specialises in the design, development and deployment of XR environments that solve real-world business challenges. As XR becomes more portable its commercial applications are growing exponentially. Our client is looking to transform workplace training and, communication and as a result, productivity through 'learning by doing' – and needs someone experienced with C++ and Unreal Engine to help with the development of overseas projects that have recently come on board.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with engineering and art teams to design and develop a range of real-time applications.
Develop application logic for mobile AR applications and mixed-reality experiences.
Innovate and solve daily design challenges with creative, technically sound solutions.
Utile VR tracking and motion capture to enhance live performances in Unreal Engine.
Explore the latest in XR devices, software advances, and generative AI.

Ideal Candidate:

Proficient in Unreal Engine (version 5) with 5+ years of experience.
Skilled in Unreal Engine Blueprinting and C++ programming.
Experienced with version control systems like Perforce or Git.
Knowledgeable in application design, design patterns, and multi-platform deployment.
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new challenges.
Excellent communication skills for team collaboration and customer interaction.
Passionate about real-time technologies and spatial computing.
