Our client is a global OCS (Online Charging System), CCS (Converged Charging System), billing and BSS (Business Support Systems) solutions provider for network operators, Mobile Virtual Network Operators, Internet of Things providers and a wide range of partners. Their software enables mobile telecom and subscription-based businesses to thrive in the connected world of 5G, from digital transformation and monetization of new services to automation of business operations and integration with existing infrastructure.
As a Business Analyst within their Professional Services team, you will:
Understand their current systems’ functionality and how this helps their customers be successful
Progressively improve their analysis practices to eliminate waste and develop lean processes
Enforce and promote SCRUM disciplines supporting their drive towards agile
Support their partners to continually improve the business needs working hand in hand with Product Owners and Development teams
Work with Product Owners and non-technical staff to write and develop user stories and acceptance criteria
Own and develop relationships with partners to optimize and enhance their integrations
Highly skilled in partner and stakeholder management
Participation in the management of the product backlog including prioritization with the Product Owner
Work with developers and QA testers to prepare user stories for delivery
Contribute to the partner roadmaps focussing on adding value to the client
Educated to degree level or equivalent work experience.
2-3 years experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner with experience of working with Agile Software Delivery teams and product backlogs
Telecoms Billing & CRM experience
Attention to detail
Organizational skills and flexibility
Experience in working in complex system environments with multiple points of integration
Advanced requirements gathering and analysis skills through to test and implementation
Proven record of managing customer expectations.
Good knowledge of the SDLC with significant experience of using agile methodologies
Strong communication and facilitation skills
Ability to work within a team as well as being a self-starter who can work autonomously
Experience of positively communicating with clients to manage challenging situations
Exposure to software development and quality assurance
Experience of working with product owners and managing backlogs
Knowledge and understanding of regulatory requirements in Telco
The role is offered on a full-time basis and will be based in their Newbury HQ with some home working available as an option. Occasional travel to clients within the local area will be required.
Full-time remote working is currently in place due to COVID.
