Job: Business Analyst

Location: US (Remote)

Salary: $6,000 per month

Job Type: Permanent

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

Create a comprehensive Business Requirements Document (BRD) for redesigning our payments pages (cashier) where customers can pay and withdraw with credit cards, cryptocurrencies etc. This BRD will be dependent on the following;
Conduct thorough competitor analysis and work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to define requirements and agree on a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for the payments and cashier systems.
Review & verify the current Customer End to End Journeys. Ensure Fit for Purpose and that they compete with the benchmarked competition.
Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, development teams, and IT infrastructure teams to ensure a clear understanding of business requirements and alignment with project goals and technical constraints.
Set out a plan, with milestones, for implementation and delivery of the agreed BRD.
Assist in designing and implementing a new loyalty scheme with points accumulation for customer spend, including promotions to reward points multiples during specific times, and the ability to redeem points on the site with applicable promotions.
Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions, both on-site and remotely, to capture business needs and translate them into actionable specifications.
Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies, best practices, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to the development and infrastructure teams during the implementation

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

5+ years of specific experience in cashier and payments systems, including credit card processing, cryptocurrencies, and related technologies.
Proven track record of creating detailed business requirements documentation and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams, including technical teams.
Proficiency in Agile principles and methodologies, with experience in facilitating requirements gathering sessions and workshops.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business needs into clear and actionable requirements, considering technical constraints.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present and explain requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to travel frequently to Costa Rica and Canada for on-site workshops and meetings.
Open to the possibility of relocating to Costa Rica for an extended period.
Technical knowledge and familiarity with IT infrastructure, systems architecture, and integration challenges.
Must be fluent in English (written and spoken)
