Blair West are supporting a leading UK retail brand in their search for a Business Intelligence Manager. This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious BI expert to deliver game-changing reporting solutions and support the strategic goals of a well-known brand.

The opportunity:

* Lead a team of 3 multi-skilled BI professionals.

* Become the Go-To person in the business for support and advice on BI reporting. You will be the subject matter expert on maximising value from business data.

* Exercise your deep technical knowledge to transform and maintain the data infrastructure and develop best-in-class reporting capabilities.

You’ll be the ideal candidate for this role if you have:

* Experience leading a small team in a similar role and being hands-on using your strong BI development skills. Project management skills would be an additional advantage.

* Strong experience with reporting and data integration, as well as deep technical skills, including in-depth SQL knowledge.

* Experience across a broad range of Microsoft technologies. The tech stack includes Azure, Data Factory, SQL Server, Power Platform, Powershell, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, and Tabular Editor. An understanding of Microsoft Dynamics and Business Central would also be an advantage.

* A strong understanding and experience of database management systems and ETL frameworks.

* Experience leading, motivating, and coaching teams to drive their professional career development and deliver meaningful business change.

* A natural customer focus and experience managing and building positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

* Strong data visualisation and interpretation skills. You will be detail-oriented, creative, curious, persistent, and self-motivated.

* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate ‘tech speak’ into clear and professional language.
