Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer

Location: York (Onsite 2-3 days a week)

Contract period: Initial contract for 3 months, with the likelihood of extension to March/April next year.

Job Overview: Join an exciting Cloud Transformation Program in York, contributing to a cutting-edge migration to AWS (SaaS). This role is ideal for a dynamic and skilled professional ready to make a significant impact in a high-profile project.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and execute the migration of infrastructure to AWS.
Implement Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solutions.
Utilise DevOps practices to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Deploy and manage infrastructure using Terraform.
Orchestrate containerised applications with Kubernetes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in cloud migration projects, specifically to AWS.
Strong understanding of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
Expertise in DevOps methodologies and tools.
Proficient in using Terraform for infrastructure management.
Experience with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
