AV Technician/Support Engineer – Global Creative Agency
Hybrid role – 3 Days in the office

We're working with a global creative/production agency that is a leader in creating bespoke, innovative experiences that combine technology and creativity. From their offices in London and the Middle East, they specialise in enhancing collaboration, loyalty, and action across sectors such as retail, property development, museums, visitor centres, and workplace environments.

Due to an increase in project activity, they're looking to hire an AV Technician/Support Engineer to join their expanding London-based team.

AV Technician/Support Engineer Duties:

* Provide remote support and visit client sites for maintenance and emergency callouts.

* Act as the first point of escalation for technical issues covered by service level agreements.

* Conduct thorough investigations of technical incidents, working with the engineering team and suppliers to resolve them.

* Monitor systems proactively, ensuring correct operation and improving service levels.

* Log and track faults or issues in the help desk system, ensuring timely completion.

* Prepare and distribute service reports and maintain up-to-date documentation.

* Test and provide feedback on software to the development team and apply necessary updates.

* Assist senior engineers with large-scale installations, including offsite testing, logistics, and onsite setup.

* Support presales, live projects, and operational activities.

* Maintain project documentation and assist with equipment procurement.

* Provide technical advice and support for internal business technology needs.

* Participate in trade shows or supplier demo days.

AV Technician/Support Engineer Key Requirements:

* Expertise in at least two areas: AV installation, systems integration, show control, projection mapping, video conferencing, hybrid events, audio, lighting, or video production.

* Strong communication skills, particularly in corporate environments.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and adapt to changing needs.

* Excellent IT skills and understanding of basic IP network principles.

* Organisational skills, time management, and methodical problem-solving abilities.

* Desire to learn new skills and share knowledge.
