Are you a strong leader with proven experience of leading the support provision for enterprise application and software systems?  Let Informed Recruitment help you to achieve your potential with an exciting opportunity for a Application Support Manager to manage and lead the support of key line of business information systems.  As a specialist provider of resource to the Property & Associated Technology markets, we are delighted to be partnering with a social enterprise offering you the opportunity to make a difference and gain experience as part of modern environment championing continual improvement with an initial three-month consultancy requirement inside of IR35, with good chance of extension.   
 
Your responsibilities will include managing the application support team, prioritising their work and managing the budget; managing the support service level provision up to second line; problem solving, fixing and solution provision; writing specification and managing code provision to provide fixes; managing the configuration management database whilst defining and managing release management policies and procedures; managing change and delivered projects into business as usual; and managing SLA’s and KPI’s in line with service targets. 
 
Must Have

Demonstrable experience working commercially as an Application Support Manager leading internal support teams.
Line management of either support, development and/or process staff and of managing budgets.
Experience of delivering systems improvement or development projects.
Experience working in an ITIL Support Service Delivery environment, supporting either cloud, SaaS, Enterprise (ERP, CRM, Accounts, HR & Payroll, Supply Chain, EDRMS, etc), or bespoke applications.
SQL or PL/SQL scripting experience, either interpreted with the ability to run scripts, or compiled with the ability to write scripts.
 
Nice to Have

Experience of CA Service Desk, Service Now, or similar service and support ticketing systems.
CMDBs
Experience working with Real Estate, Property Management, Social Landlords or Social Care environments or supporting/developing applications specific to those industries.
Relevant certification, such as ITIL v3, PRINCE2, Microsoft and/or application/database specific accreditations.
