3rd Line IT Support Engineer
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30.
Holiday Entitlement: 25 days holiday entitlement plus 8 bank holidays
Salary: £32,000 – £35,000
We are currently recruiting for a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer role, working with our client, who are market leaders in the design and manufacturing industry.
As a 3rd Line IT Support Engineer, your responsibilities would include:
Provide 3rd line support for Helpdesk support tickets and support tickets which are escalated.
Provide 3rd line support and daily management of M365, SQL, Mimecast, Fortigate Security, Sophos, Business Critical Applications and Server OS Management.
Diagnose and troubleshoot 3rd line technical issues, including network configuration and architecture.
Support and Manage the roll out of software and Patch management which are approved by the I,T Manager.
Provide 3rd line support and daily management for the Storage Area Network and Virtual Environment.
Provide 3rd line support for the Network Infrastructure.
Provide 3rd line support for the VOIP Network and other communications solutions.
Ensure the business conforms with the software license agreements.
Ensure business continuity solutions and disaster recovery solutions are monitored, reported and improvements identified.
Monitor and report that the Best Practices are followed by 1st and 2nd line support and infrastructure.
Evaluate and optimise network and system performance.
Actively Monitor Cyber Security solution and system vulnerabilities. Escalate and take correct measures to preventresolve security issues.If you feel that you have the skills to be successful in this role, please apply now.
