During a busy period of expansion, our client are looking for an enthusiastic IT Technician to provide fast and useful technical assistance on hardware and software. You will mainly be in the field, installing equipment, troubleshooting, and diagnosing issues and access to a company vehicle will be provided.

Requirements

* 2 years+ previous experience as an IT Tech onsite field technician

* Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues from customers explanation.

* Working knowledge of software and networking –

* Inc Microsoft Office 365, Windows 10, Windows Server & printers.

* Good understanding and willingness to expand knowledge on computer systems and mobile devices

* Proficiency in English

* Excellent communication skills and good telephone manner

* Good problem solving skills

* Customer-oriented and patient

* Full UK driving license

Responsibilities

* Perform troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and by asking the customer pertinent questions

* Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers

* Walk the customer through the problem-solving process if required

* Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel

* Install new or repaired equipment – a range of devices from PC’s , Laptops, Apple Macs, NAS and printers.

* Liaise face to face with clients on issues which cannot be resolved remotely

* Upgrading or installing new equipment to their satisfaction.

* Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers

* Identify and suggest possible improvements on internal processes
