We are looking to recruit a 1st Line Support Technician, to join our successful and expanding IT Support company based near Warwick, with opportunities to broaden your skills in a role that offers new challenges every day?
Day to Day duties will be to provide 1st line technical support via Telephone, Email and Remote Assistance from our offices based in Barford, Warwick, supporting our customers with a range of support queries, which will require the successful candidate to possess the following skills;
Windows 10 Operating Systems and Support
Apple OS Support
Working experience of Microsoft Office Suite
Office 365 admin
Google Workspace and user management
Active Directory and user account management
PC & Laptop repairs
The following experience would be advantageous, but not essential;
Familiar with Windows Server Operating Systems
An understanding of Server Roles & Services – Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP etc
Apple VPP, DEP & MDM management
Experience with LAN, WAN & TCP/IP technologies
Experience configuring and managing VPN connectivity
Diagnose priority/impact of incoming cases promptly for the customer and the user.
Log helpdesk tickets and escalate as required.
Update progress of assigned tickets and close when resolved.
Review tickets daily and assist with any issues and / or provide progress updates to customers.
The ideal 1st Line Support Engineer will have experience working within a similar role or having worked for an MSP would be advantageous. Possession of any IT qualification including MCP/Comptia A+ would be desirable but not required.

Strong communication skills both written and verbally
Essential ‘can do’ attitude and driven to learn, progress and succeed.
Keen to expand your knowledge in key technologies and an interest in technology developments and standards.
Must have excellent documentation skills
Be capable of escalating calls to the Senior Engineers when appropriate
Full Clean Driving Licence and the ability to travel
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an active, fast-moving environment, has good interpersonal, fault finding and diagnostic skills.
The annual starting salary is circa £18k, Pension Contributions and travel costs/mileage paid
