1st Line Support Engineer – Desktop Support (Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Office 365) – €200–€250 per day – 3-month contract!

A 1st Line Support Engineer (Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Office 365, Desktop Support) is required for a 3-month contract providing hands-on IT support to end users across four locations between Dundalk and Ballycoolin.
The successful 1st Line Support Engineer will need experience in:

Windows 10 / Windows 11 Desktop Support
Microsoft 365 / Office 365 support
Providing hands-on, face-to-face support to end users
Troubleshooting user access, authentication and general desktop issues
Working across multiple locations – you must have a full driving licence and your own vehicleThis is a great opportunity for a 1st Line Support Engineer who wants a varied contract combining day-to-day Desktop Support with exposure to project-based work. You will be working directly with users and gaining additional hands-on experience within a busy Microsoft desktop environment.

Day to day, you will provide Desktop Support to users working with Windows 10 and Windows 11, troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide Microsoft 365 / Office 365 support.

You will also assist users with access and authentication issues and support the onboarding of users onto a new multi-factor authentication platform, including some configuration of hardware authentication keys.

The role covers four locations between Dundalk and Ballycoolin. Approximately one day per week will involve project work from different sites, so you will need your own vehicle and be comfortable travelling when required. Outside of this, you will generally be able to work from whichever of the four locations is most convenient.
