Job Title: 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer
Location:
North West England, Central Manchester
Job Type:
Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours onsite 5 days a week (no remote working)
Rate:
£150.00 Per day
Job Duties:
Providing 1st/2nd line technical support to resolve IT issues
Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software systems
Troubleshooting network and system problems
Responding to IT support tickets and escalations in a timely manner
Assisting users with IT-related queries and issues
Ensuring data security and system integrity
Required Qualifications:
Relevant IT qualifications/certifications
Demonstrable experience in IT support roles
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Education:
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional IT certifications preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Proficient in Windows and MacOS operating systems
Knowledge of networking protocols and hardware
Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues
Understanding of IT security best practises
Working Conditions:
This role is office-based 5 days a week (Monday to Friday) with no option for remote working
