You will join a growing e-commerce business at their site based in Gateshead and have the opportunity to work on a number of in-house web development projects including new features, improvements and bug fixes, as well as bigger projects. You will therefore have the chance to help maintain the e-commerce stores whilst also helping the company grow.
Your tasks will include:
Working closely with designers to create new e-commerce stores
Implementing new features and fixing bugs
Carrying out stringent testing on all sites and projects
Supporting the in-house team with web development queries and troubleshooting the current e-commerce portfolio
Providing estimates for scopes of work
Building bespoke modules
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
You will receive an annual salary of between £25,000 and £35,000, depending on your level of experience. However, if your expectations are higher on this (or indeed lower if you don’t match all of the criteria), there could be additional opportunities for the right skills and experience!

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?
To be progressed to interview stage, you will need to be able to be skilled in:
You will be confident using coding standards and methodologies and be able to demonstrate your experience with examples of your work, using a GitHub or Bitbucket account.
Your passion for web technologies will totally shine through and you will be keen to continue developing your skills. Of course, you will also need to fit in with the team, meaning you will need to thrive working in a collaborative, creative and positive environment.
