Technical Support Engineer
Orpington
Hybrid – 3 days in the office and two working from home
IntaPeople are working with a leading technology company based in Orpington who are seeking a 1st Line Support Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team with exposure to 2nd line support issues. The successful individual will be the first point of contact for all issues raised by either phone or email as well as identifying the issue and managing the ticket through to closure.
The role will involve:
Managing your time to prioritise urgent tickets.
Providing end user support.
Being the first point of contact for any issues raised by either email or phone.
Maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Remote network troubleshooting.
Working with other team members to ensure all tickets are actioned.
The ideal individual:
A years’ experience in an IT environment.
Experience in PC hardware upgrades.
Previous experience with a ticketing system.
Strong communication skills.
An understanding of networking and protocols.
Ability to manage a busy workload.
Excellent customer service.
Previous exposure to Active Directory on Windows 8 and above.
