Technical Sales Engineer (Solutions Specialist)
London – Hybrid – 2.5 Days P/W On-Site
£45k-£50k + Benefits + 10% Bonus

Our client, a managed telecomms provider, is in the market for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer (Solutions Specialist). This full-time hybrid role is based central London and offers a salary of up to £50,000 p/a and excellent benefits plus a quarterly bonus.

In your first few weeks in this Technical Sales Engineer role, you can expect to:

Establish yourself as a trusted advisor, working with Sales and Solution Consultants from an early stage of the opportunity cycle from both a technical and commercial perspective
Build close working relationships with the product management, solution consultants, sales and engineering teams throughout all elements of your role
Be a point of contact, responsible for solution design, for engineering, delivery and support teams throughout an order lifecycle
Actively take part in secondments to Solution Implementation and Support Services teamsTo apply for this Solutions Specialist position, you must be eligible for SC Clearance, and have technical knowledge in common networking principles & protocols such as:

Knowledge of L2-L4 TCP/IP Stack
L2-L3 Switching Concepts
IP routing technologies (such as OSPF & BGP)
Redundancy Protocols (such as VRRP)
Security principles (such as Stateful Firewall, UTM, IPSec & SIEM)
Wireless principles (sucg as SSIDs, Encryption & Authentication)You will also require the following:

Excellent customer facing skills with the ability to present and demo products to customers
Ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences
Able to manage multiple projects across multiple product suites
You may also have relevent qualifications or certifications such as CCNA.
Eligibility for SC ClearanceIn return for your dedication, collaboration and commitment, you'll receive a generous salary of up to £50,000 p/a plus a benefits package and quarterly bonus, in addition to joining a welcoming and inclusive culture.
