The business is looking for a skilled, dedicated and ambitious team member to provide pre-sales and in-life solution support to new opportunities and existing customers.

About the Technical Sales Engineer Role:
The Technical Sales Engineer will provide support to the technologi sales team, our customers and the wider business in assembling and recommending the most appropriate solutions to the growing number of acquiring banks, payment facilitators, ISO’s and marketplaces we support. You will gain a deep understanding of the capability that we have to understand how our services can be crafted to deliver upon our customers objectives. Where additional capability is required, you will work with the customer to understand those requirements, create and propose a solution and build the internal scope needed to translate that into additional capability.
You will become our “subject matter expect” in all things technologi when it comes to the capability we have and play a key role in influencing future development based on the feedback and insights you collect from customers. The Technical Sales Engineer will be provide advice and support on our capability to assist in the sale and ultimate implementation of our technologi “ecosystem” capability and it becoming an embedded part of our customers business. You will run tailored product demos and guide technical discussions, confidently advising on our capability and supporting opportunities and new requirements.
You will work in a cross-functional team of sales people, business analysts, developers and marketers. By combining technical expertise and commercial awareness, you’ll maximise sales opportunities and help us drive the growth of the business.
Technical Sales Engineer Duties:
Work closely with our sales team and our customers to present our capability, understand their requirements and present the most appropriate solutions.
Support with demos of our capability currently consisting of our Revolution, Prospect and Velocity platforms as well as new capability we create in the future.
Gain a sufficient detailed understanding of the capability to be able to identify bespoke requirements from customers based on their requirements and present the most appropriate solutions and enhancements to our capability.
Work closely with multiple teams, in-particular the sales and account management teams, business analysts and developers to ensure customer requirements are correctly captured and translated into new capability.
Be a customer champion, ensuring their views and opinions are represented within the business.
Stay close to industry and market developments actively studying competitor capability and the evolution of their proposition so the business can maintain its “market leader” status.
Support in the production of proposals, create and deliver presentations as part of the sales process.
Maintain a focus on quality with well-articulated, written and spoken communication with a relentless attention to detail.
Contribute to support documents where required to ensure they are clear, accurate and properly representing the product and the capability of the business.
Closely influence product development working with our customers as well as the product leadership, marketing and wider business to present your insights and opinions on the opportunities and requirements in the market.
Necessity to on occasion work unsociable hours when proposal deadlines are looming, commitments have been made to customers or you are required to meet new or existing customers out of office hours or manage communication within their time zone (which may not be UK time).
A well-structured individual that is able to plan and manage their time and opportunities effectively and is used to providing regular updates to the Management Team on their progress
Technical Sales Engineer Requirements:
Deep interest in technology, preferably with experience support solution delivery within a software business.
Excellent listening and communication skills, able to communicate with people at all levels.
Well-structured and organised able to prioritise work and deliver upon commitments to customers.
Proactive, tenacious, committed and hungry for success.
Possession of a full driving license and prepared to travel as part of the role as required.
