Role: Technical Account Manager
Package: £40,000+ OTE (easily achievable)
Base Salary: Up to £29,000 D.O.E

My client is a fast-paced Managed IT Service Provider based in Staffordshire. They are award-winning with track record for both growing and rewarding staff.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is the primary focus of the role, ultimately building trust between you and the client. You need to be technical and confident enough to have C-level conversations with clients, leaving them confident in the company's ability to provide them an exceptional service.
As a Technical Account Manager, you will also work closely with a team of in-house solutions experts and key client stakeholders daily. As part of the role, you will evaluate IT infrastructure, identify risks, research and present IT solutions to bring about improvements in business efficiency and growth.
Attend quarterly business reviews and board-level business strategy meetings with client decision-makers
Oversee all technology operations and evaluate them according to established internal processes and toolsets
Devise and establish information policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by their clients' senior management
Assist stakeholders in identification, implementation and management of 3rd part vendor line of business applications and technologies
Analyse the business requirements of all departments and overall businesses to determine their information technology needs
Make efficient and cost-effective technological proposals for infrastructure and software platform adoption
Inspect the use of technological equipment and software solutions to ensure alignment to the company's best practice, functionality and efficiency. Identifying the need for upgrades, reconfiguration or new systems
Act as the senior account contact for the client within the business and take full accountability for service and solutions delivered to the client
Develop, present, and control client information technology budget
Assist in building relationships with technology vendors and creating cost-efficient solutions
Skills and Experience
Logic problem solving and analytical skills
Beneficial to have an understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of information systems and their specifications
A desire and excitement to learn and understand a vast array of business types, requirements and technologies
Experience in controlling information technology budget
Strong communication skills and an ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical end-users in simple terms
Personable, customer satisfaction driven attitude
Able to identify and interpret business needs and requirements
