Place of work: Field Base UK North

Starting Salary: £35-£40K depending on experience, with excellent benefits

Contract type: Full Time

Reports to: Learning and Development Manager, Systems Training

Travel: UK Based with significant travel to Parks across the UK

A key contributor to the Learning and Development Team, within the wider People Team, and responsible for the training and upskilling of colleagues located on Park on the various IT systems.

This role will partner closely with Park Holidays operational teams, including Regional Ops Managers, General Managers and Administration Managers on Park, Functional Team leads, Regional People Partners, and other People Team colleagues to ensure that systems training support the delivery of Park Holidays operational priorities. Delivery can include the use of different methods and mediums, covering a wide spectrum of topics but primarily IT systems training. Including ‘Elite Parks’ (EP) which is our park’s primary IT system and SAP our HR system. This role will focus on the operational side of the business, helping our people understand how to execute all park related processes in EP/SAP used to administer the operation.

This role will be responsible for:

* The primary role is to train and support our park-based people to execute key processes in EP and SAP to the highest levels or accuracy.

* Becoming a guru in all operational park processes and the EP and SAP functionality that supports them.

* Identifying learning needs on each of our parks so you can plan the most efficient and effective way to address those needs.

* Engage in other L&D activity on Parks should a need be identified including soft skills, leadership development and compliance and regulation.

* Designing support resources and planning on-the-job training sessions either 1:1 or for small groups

* Potentially spending up to 80-90% of your time on parks supporting your peers in-person.

* Planning your time and travel schedule to maximise the support you can offer to our parks.

* Working closely with our EP / SAP experts, park General Managers, People Partners and Operations Managers to ensure you are offering support in the highest priority areas.

* This role reports into the learning and development team with a dotted line to the primary stakeholders in the Operations Team.

Requirements of this role:

* The ideal person will have experience as a field-based, technical/systems trainer in the holiday park industry.

* Industry experience and a passion for supporting and developing people is a higher priority than training experience.

* Experience of Business Central or similar systems will be an advantage.

* Willingness and ability to travel to different parks, up to approximately 4 days a week, if required, across the entire northern half of the UK is essential.

* Strong communication skills and ability to translate processes and system features into a logical and easy to understand learning journey.

* Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to reprioritise work based on business demand.

* Expert planning and organisation skills to ensure most efficient use of time travelling and on parks.

* Driven and motivated to work autonomously ensuring the right people get the right support at the right time.

Specific skills and personal qualities:

* A degree of Technical understanding, to a level where they can design and deliver technical information.

* Great interpersonal skills with a positive and collaborative outlook.

* Analytical and able to interpret data, information and needs.

* Adept at influencing employees at all levels with a capacity to engage and inspire.

* Experience designing and delivering blended employee learning interventions, using creative and engaging methodologies, using instructional design methodology.

* Ability to use the relevant Human Resources tools and the suite of Microsoft Office.

* Ability to use Digital design platforms i.e.: Canva, Adobe etc would be advantageous.

* A high level of verbal and written communication skills
