Support Analyst, Support Engineer, Windows Server, Active Directory 

This Support Analyst / Support Engineer position would suit an “all-rounder” with experience of both desktop and server support, keen to further their experience and work on a variety of projects, in a growing environment.

The Role

Reporting directly to the IT Manager in a varied and highly-visible role, The Support Analyst / Support Engineer will take ownership of 1st and 2nd line desktop support requests, together with providing support and administration of the network and virtualised server infrastructure.  With close to a 1000 employees across several brands worldwide, the Support Analyst will be working in a structured team, taking responsibility for the day to day support of more than 200 users across several sites in the EMEA region.

What do I need?

Technically, the successful Support Analyst / Support Engineer will need to be comfortable in a varied, Microsoft environment, an environment that comprises:

Windows 10
Active Directory/Group Policy
Office 365
VMware vSphere
Windows 2012/2016 servers
Veeam
SQL Server
Networking (routers, switches, firewalls, VLANS)

Whilst the Support Analyst / Support Engineer won’t be expected to have deep experience in every area, a broad background and technical knowledge base coupled with the desire and ability to pick up new technologies will be required.
