The responsibilities of the role include:

Provision of customer support for client's applications including resolving problems and issues raised by customers via e-mail or web, occasionally also by phone
Identifies and diagnoses issues and needs, escalates potential risks as far as necessary to resolve for both the company and customers
Supports customer projects in migrations and customizations
Assistance in creation and maintenance of support documentation and develop content for our customer communityMust have skills/experience:

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and German language to provide an exceptional customer service experience to end-users, application owners and external clients is essential
Excellent logical and analytical problem-solving skills
General knowledge and interest in IT
Experience in developing and / or operating of complex software
Positive client service approach with a 'Can do-will do' proactive attitude
Quick comprehension of unfamiliar business processes
Well integration in international heterogeneous teamsAdvantageous skills/experience:

Software support experience
Technical skills in W3C Standards (XML, XPATH, XSLT, XSLFO)
Knowledge about databases (Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, MS SQL)
Skills or an understanding of object-oriented programming languages like JAVA (or similar)
Experience in debugging and profiling tools
Skills in installation, configuration and monitoring of web applications in common application servers (Websphere, Weblogic, Tomcat)
Experience with Operation Systems (Windows, Linux), containers (Docker) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS)
Knowledge in analyzing and solving performance, concurrency, and memory problems in (Java) applications
