Job Title: Software Project Manager

Location: Derby

Salary: Circa £40,000 to £45,000

This sector leading and highly ethical company working in carbon saving supply chain software are looking to take on a Project Manager with experience in software delivery to work closely with their clients and internal development teams.

This role is to provide strategic planning and project management support projects ranging from internal application security code review to a complex consulting engagement with some of the largest global enterprises.

The role will serve as the primary interface between their customers/business development and delivery and help articulate, drive and align projects to information security and risk management value propositions. The candidate will also develop and maintain project plans (including keeping source-code records up-to-date to ensure actuals for the project can be tracked and success projects can be delivered on-time to our customers.
The project manager will also provide escalation support to the analyst/consultant to help resolve issues relating to the project parameters including ensuring effective hand-off from business development to project delivery.
Some travel may be required in this role.

You will be working as part of a small, close-knit team developing cardon saving software products designed to improve tracking and delivery that is used by a number of household names.

Key Skills Required

We are looking for someone that is either an experienced software project manager with experience in delivering software projects or someone looking for that step up into a project management role from software delivery or business analysis.

You will have the ability to manage up to five concurrent projects and has the ability to own the process form start to finish.
