Senior Software Engineer Role:

As a part of the Nationwide Recruitment Service (NRS) client's growth, we are hiring a Senior Software Engineer to continue to expand our market-leading, contemporary, Servicing platform.
The successful software engineer will be innovative and motivational, responsible for developing NRS's client's platform using modern software engineering practices and methodologies.
As Senior Software Engineer you will be pivotal to the business as well as managing the multi-disciplined scrum team and the delivery of innovative features and capabilities to clients.
The successful software engineer will need extensive experience in Java and P4 (4GL) applications, augmented with a growing variety of API integrations, Web and Digital services, and Cloud Native Digital platforms.
Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities
* Manage and develop a team of designing, developing, and implementing solutions in collaboration with the Product Owner and Application Architects. Collaborate closely with the Product Owner and Scrum Master to plan software releases.
* Manage build activities to prepare software for client releases.
* Uphold standards for producing high-quality code and documentation within the team.
* Attend Agile Scrum ceremonies and contribute effectively within the team.
* Ensure adherence to the NRS software development lifecycle process.
* Support system integration testing and contribute to test planning.
* Provide advice, guidance and support to other engineers.
* Coach and support colleagues to deliver effective solutions.
THE SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER should have extensive experience in software engineering practices, including Continuous Delivery, software development, and delivery experience.
Extensive experience within an Agile Scrum environment.
Extensive experience with Jenkins, Maven, JIRA, Artifactory, etc and to be proficient in Git (Bitbucket, GitHub) and SQL and preferable if you have worked with Java, AWS, SpringBoot, PowerShell or Terraform.
