Job Title: Development Manager
Location: Birmingham, West Midlands
Salary: £65,000 Plus Performance bonus up to 15%

You will be leading a team of developers, who will be building high quality Mobile and Web applications. You will be asked to contribute with your expertise, and we encourage product participation from the team.
Your team will be building versatile, services and API's in line with business requirements.
Confident in leading a technical team and driving the daily stand ups. Preferably with some experience in leading teams of developers, although we would entertain applications from those keen to move into a leadership role. We are looking for people with a want to push their careers forwards.
The team cover both Java and .net developments.
This is an exciting role helping shape the technical vision for the future at ICS.
Most importantly we are looking for candidates who are excited by producing quality solutions to class leading applications for consumers in the health sector.
Day to day responsibilities include
Lead the team of developers
Run daily stand ups
Drive the team for continued improvement.
Recognise areas for process optimisation
challenge analysts and requirements
Good Attention to detail and able to understand and work with technical documentation
Define success criteria for team
Create and contribute to technical documentation
Be able to contribute to the team environment putting forwards ideas for improvements when pertinent.
Work to create quality solutions adhering to the OWASP security standards.Experience
Team leadership experience
Evaluate quality of requirements and drive sprint planning
Giving mentoring to more junior team members.
Have good development skills in either Java or .net
Provide project leadership on setting targets for deployments and deliveries.
A good understanding of Agile software development
Good communication skills.
Proven ability to understand new technologies
Provide Technical leadership to the development teams.
Create and Maintain technical Documentation
Good working knowledge of Software Design principles and architecture
Be capable of building and articulating technical execution plans
Be aware of, and actively communicate to the team about, emerging technologies and their potential application.
Good Prioritisation and Decision making skills
Proven problem-solving expertise
