Role: Software Developer

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 (25 days annual holiday, pension, private healthcare contributions and free parking, training, home working and flexible working)

Location: Leicestershire

As a Software Developer you will be exposed to the entire software lifecycle, being responsible for the configuration and implementation of further development around products, whilst acting as an escalation point for specific complex support queries. You will be exposed to working with both new and existing customers.

Software Developer Primary Responsibilities:

*Install, configure, and support a variety of additional and current software products (Python, .NET, C#, VB, JavaScript, VBA)

*Assist in the timely, high quality delivery of testing for customer solutions

*Understand clients business needs with an involvement in analysis to scope project plans

*Participate in the conversion of functional specifications into technical/design

*Attend client meetings to discuss product development and requirements

Software Developer Desirable Skills and Experience:

*Python experience and/or other object orientated scripting languages

*Experience following and/or updating documentation which captures specific functionality

*Exposure to technical operating systems

*Experience developing, testing or supporting technical solutions
