As a Java Software Developer IT Trainer, you will be integral to our client's business and help maintain client’s excellent standards of quality training.
As a Java Software Developer IT Trainer, you will be responsible for delivering exciting training materials and imparting your knowledge and expertise within state-of-the-art facilities, directly influencing the UK’s next generation of Software Developer. You will get to lead a team of trainees through the course modules and assess their progress throughout. With your support and mentoring and your ability to cater for a variety of learning styles, you will help them meet the learning outcomes.
You will work in a team of talented trainers and coaches with a similar drive to deliver quality training to the students, helping to continuously develop their skills.
Key Skills:
You will need to have a passion and flair for training or presentations, you will be flexible and self-motivated, with really good communication skills. You will also have a solid working knowledge of Java & SQL, and ideally 5 years commercial experience in a relevant field. In order to share your experience of working across the full SDLC with your students, you will have some great examples of doing so in a commercial environment.
Useful Skills:
It would be useful if you had some of the following knowledge & experience: UNIX; VBA; HTML, CSS & JavaScript; Git (or similar VCS); Agile or Scrum knowledge; previous IT Training Experience, Experience in Coaching and/or Mentoring
