Software Developer

Full Time West Yorkshire IT Job Pro UK

You’d be joining a close-knit business, who already provide a range of SaaS products to the education sector. They’ve recently started to expand their offerings, looking at different modules and uses of the product, which is why they’re looking for an extra pair of hands to help with the development.

As you’ll be joining an established team of 5 Developers, you should be comfortable working fairly autonomously (especially given you’ll probably be WFH too) – but you’ll also have a real opportunity to provide your influence towards a product and offer real change.

You should be able to show a background working with C#, ASP.NET MVC, C# and SQL Server and they’ll provide training on the rest.

This is still very much a full-stack role, although you don’t need to be a front-end expert – but you should be able to demonstrate commercial experience using JavaScript and Bootstrap. If you do have experience working with customer facing/SaaS products – then it’d be a real bonus.

For now, I see the role paying around the £35,000-£40,000-mark, DOE, but they could be flexible for the right person and I’d envisage this to grow as your exposure to more of their products increases.

They are all working from home right now, but even prior to lockdown they had a fantastic working from home policy, with the other Developers in the team working from home either 3 or 4 days a week – something you’d also benefit from.

Interviews are happening via Zoom, so if you’d be interested in speaking about the role, please get in touch with Jack Leeming at Optima today
