Software Developer
Offering £35,000 – £45,000 Plus Great Benefits
Our client is an established e-commerce, sales and distribution company representing a wide range of major UK and International brands based in Central Leeds. Due to continued growth, they are currently recruiting a Software Developer to join their business. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for developing, administering and maintaining our client’s software systems and applications with particular focus on the company’s task software, SQL Databases, applications developed in-house (C#) and the transfer and manipulation of data to and from various sources.
Software Developer – Key Responsibilities
* Support and maintain the in-house software systems.
* Develop and support bespoke applications and integration systems.
* Ensure the integrity of business information.
* Liaise with 3rd parties who integrate and interact with the in-house systems.
* Maintain secure systems in alignment with PCI and DPA standards.
* Ensure the correct change management processes are followed for any system or software changes.
* Document any changes to IT system processes.
* Provide support and advice to other IT members.
* Provide support and advice to all areas of the business.
* Support HMS users.
* Assist with maintenance of the IS(phone number removed) ISMS.
* Positively promote the company’s policies and standards.
Software Developer – Skills & Experience
* Strong C# development skills.
* Excellent knowledge and experience of procedural programming.
* Intermediate SQL skills with an ability to support SQL databases.
* Experience using PowerShell, Visual Basic/Java and MSDOS to produce scripts and batch files would be highly desirable.
* Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and attention to detail required.
The Software Developer position is offering £35,000 -£45,000 basic salary plus great benefits for the successful candidate. This is a full time, permanent, based at our client’s Central Leeds office with flexible working options available.
