Shopify Tech Lead – Up to £55,000 – Hybrid – Liverpool

We're looking for an experienced Shopify Tech Lead to join a growing digital team delivering high-performance ecommerce solutions. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll own Shopify projects end-to-end while mentoring developers and frontend best practice.

What You'll Do

Lead the technical delivery of complex Shopify projects from discovery through to launch

Architect and build custom Shopify themes and solutions using Liquid, JavaScript, HTML and CSS

Act as the technical authority on Shopify, providing guidance, code reviews and mentorship

Collaborate closely with branding, QA and Project Management

Drive standards, tooling and performance optimisation across projects
What You'll Bring

Strong commercial experience working with Shopify at a senior or lead level

Expert knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Shopify APIs and modern frontend development

Experience mentoring developers or leading Shopify delivery

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical decisions clearly

Nice to have: Hydrogen/Oxygen, React (Next.js or Remix), TypeScript, TailwindCSS
