Are you a Sharepoint Developer with experience of workflow design using Nintex, looking for an exciting new challenge? The successful candidate will ideally be based from our Warwick office, but remote working will be considered.

We're looking for Sharepoint Developer to join our NRTS (National Roads Telecommunication Services) project. Reporting to the Lead Sharepoint Developer, you will be responsible for delivering a Document Management System (DMS) based on a hybrid SharePoint environment, including workflow design using Nintex Workflow. Key responsibilities will include:

Assist with design of DMS
Configure SharePoint Sites/List/Libraries/Content Types/Site Columns/Pages to satisfy requirements
Configure Security Groups
Implement Workflows using Nintex
Assist with creation of documentation to support the DMS
Assist with Testing and Training as required

Skill, experience and qualifications required:

Substantial Sharepoint 'on premise' and 'online' development experience
Workflow design and development experience, preferably using Nintex Workflow or similar
Familiarity with hybrid cloud collaboration
Design and Implementation of a document management system with emphasis on compliance, audit and process.
Unified Aggregation and Navigation components to enable document search and discovery
Knowledge of the limitations of default SharePoint navigation and aggregation
Design and Use of Content Type Syndication Hub
Deployment of assets through development, test and live environments with cloud/hybrid components.

The NRTS project

Highways England have awarded telent the contract for the operation and management of NRTS2 (National Roads Telecommunication Services), NRTS is the network of communication and control that Highways England uses to monitor and manage England's motorways and major trunk roads, it is a critical component of national infrastructure supporting the country's 4,400mile strategic road network.

The contract includes a major technology transformation programme in addition to general maintenance and management of the network; The transformation programme comprises of 11 technology projects, including the introduction of new wireless and IP CCTV services, new management systems and the next-generation upgrade of all technology, this will ultimately enable Highways England to prepare for the future and enable safer roads, more efficient delivery and a better road user experience.
