Role: Service Desk Team Leader

This company have grown quickly and organically. They are well established with over 15 years in operation, and they now have 150+ team members and 7 offices.
They are looking for a Service Desk Team Leader to get on board to provide guidance and motivation to a team of 7 skilled 1st and 2nd line engineers.
You will be responsible for the upkeep and, where possible, improvement of this company's award-winning IT support services.
This is not a technical role but you will be managing technical engineers. Therefore, a good technical understanding of the following would be highly beneficial:
AD, AAD, GPO
Office 365, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Intune
Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper V or Citrix)
Networking basics – troubleshooting & 1st/2nd level BAU
Windows Server & OS
In this role you will undertake all the responsibilities you would expect: setting KPI's/SLA's, conducting 1-to-1's, writing performance reviews, allocating service desk tickets, dealing with disgruntled customers (this should be a very rare occurrence!) etc.
