As Firstport’s Senior User Experience Designer you will contribute to our vision of being the UKs favourite property manager by:

Undertaking regular user experience research that successfully informs product iterations and new product development.
Championing UX design for our colleagues, clients and customers, to continually drive better product experiences.
Building prototypes that help bring products to life for stakeholders and shape the longer term roadmap.
This role reports to the Digital Product Director and will work closely with Product Managers in the wider team, along with stakeholders across the business, to develop best in class products for our colleagues, clients and customers, as we continue our digital transformation journey.

About You:

A minimum of 5 years work experience in the field.
Ability to demonstrate a track record of successfully delivering customer research that leads to better customer outcomes.
Skilled at leading workshops to better understand user requirements and potential opportunities.
Experience of communicating and presenting metrics effectively to support recommendations.
Have a strong work portfolio that demonstrates systematic and creative design thinking and a deep understanding of best UX/UI practices.
Experienced with tools such as Invision, Axure, VWO and have a strong technical background.
Able to demonstrate practical experience working with Salesforce.
Have experience of working with large cross functional teams.
Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Main Responsibilities

Lead customer research to gather feedback and help inform user experience and design decisions.
Facilitating regular internal and external workshops to better understand customer needs.
Conduct competitor analysis to help inform the roadmap and maintain our market leading position.
Lead website testing to help inform the roadmap, optimise experiences, and drive KPIs.
Lead the design for new experiences and improvement of existing product experiences.
Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences, while considering potential technical limitations.
Be the digital user experience champion for the business working collaboratively with stakeholders across the business to achieve set business goals.
Work with the analytics team to understand insights and behaviours that inform UX decisions.
Work on cross-platform applications to develop user experiences covering mobile phones, tablets and computers.
Work collaboratively with other teams, including product, business analysts, engineers and project managers to ensure UX requirements and definition.
