You'll work on our brilliant Enterprise Tooling team, an integral part of DWP's Technology Services.

You are an experienced Technical Delivery Manager, with experience of Infrastructure and Application monitoring delivery.
You will be working DWP Enterprise Tooling Team which are responsible for developing, enhancing and maintaining a range of enterprise strength toolsets that manage the Departments IT Systems Management capabilities.
You'll help deliver important changes and upgrades to DWP's Tooling products. working closely with the relevant product and applications owners, and Tooling Engineering teams on products like:
Application Performance Management.
Data Analytics Tooling.
Systems Management Tooling.
Event Monitoring Tooling.
Software Asset Management Tooling.
Data Centre Infrastructure Management Tooling.
Our team is committed to designing, developing, deploying and supporting core IT services that underpin the DWP's citizen facing systems. We make sure we can see how healthy the network, server or application is, and how the datacentres are laid out.
The DWP use a wide variety of best of breed software to support the provision of core services.
You don't need to be an expert across all of the products used. But in order to drive projects through the whole delivery lifecycle, we do expect a level of understanding of the concepts behind the products and why we need them.
At its core our role, and yours, is about keeping these underlying monitoring systems online, and ensuring our services are as accessible as possible.
What skills, knowledge and experience do you need to show us?
Significant Experience of delivering solutions within an agile framework.
Significant Experience of co-ordinating the troubleshooting and resolution of complex issues across multiple enterprise tooling domains.
Significant Experience of effectively communicating at different levels, across support and engineering, business users, architecture and suppliers.
Significant Experience of delivering solutions to large scale enterprise environments for the following applications; asset discovery, enterprise monitoring, network and system configuration management, datacentre management.
Project Management qualifications or equivalent experience / skills.

You'll join us at our brilliant digital hub in Blackpool. This role will involve travel to our other hub sites.
