QA Tester (Contract) – Remote | £470/day | UK Gov Project

📍 Location: Remote (with ad hoc UK travel – approx. 1 day/month)

📅 Contract Length: Until 31/12/2025 (Extension Highly Likely)

💷 Day Rate: £470/day (Inside IR35)

🔐 Clearance: Must be eligible for SC Clearance

Join a high-impact programme within a critical UK Government department as a Senior QA Tester. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to public-facing systems that matter, while working remotely with minimal travel.

What You'll Be Doing:

Designing and executing automated tests across multiple layers of the tech stack
Collaborating with developers and stakeholders to ensure robust integration and performance testing
Maintaining and enhancing test frameworks using modern tools and languages
Ensuring quality across UI components and full end-to-end user journeys

Tech Stack & Skills Required:

✅ Contract Testing with PACT

✅ Integration Testing using Kotlin

✅ UI Component Testing with Playwright + TypeScript

✅ End-to-End Testing with Playwright + TypeScript

✅ Performance Testing experience

Candidates must be eligible for SC Clearance and able to travel to UK sites once per month
