As a hands-on Project Manager, you'll be a driving change, delivering the technology & business change management required to make this vital project become reality, by devising & building innovative solutions to business challenges, ensuring that the client offers the best possible proposition to its members.
You'll be working closely & engaging with the Product Owner & key business stakeholders to identify business requirements, analyse data, & engage with the wider membership/customer base to ensure the project meets their needs. You'll help identify & communicate project delivery benefits, getting sign-off for the project scope.
You'll work with suppliers & 3rd parties to build long-term partnerships & deliver the best possible solution for the business, ensuring all parts of the solutions integrate with each other, & ensure a "configure first, not develop" workflow is adopted by suppliers.
Title: Senior Project Manager / or Programme Manager.
Location: Exeter Devon, commutable from Plymouth, Taunton, Yeovil, Cornwall.
Start Date: ASAP.
Salary: c £40,000 – £55,000 pa neg on experience. Plus benefits.
Duration: Permanent full-time role.
With proven experience as a hands-on Project Manager or a Programme Manager with very strong Stakeholder Management & Change Management ability, you'll have a demonstrable track record of delivering & implementing a wide range of complex projects to time, scope & budget.
You'll have strong business process/technical process mapping skills with an awareness of new & developing technologies & how they can be applied to the client to improve workflows. You can recognise business opportunities & present clear ideas & a strategic vision of how technology can be applied to achieve success.
Using your excellent communication & organisation skills, you'll explain complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders & enjoy working collaboratively with a team. To hit the ground running in this role you will have previously worked with ERP solutions (Microsoft Business Central would be great) & have previous experience of integrating different IT systems along with an understanding of eCommerce or Retail.
It will be ideal to have professional qualifications &/or professional development in at least one of either Project, Programme or Portfolio Management, Business Analysis, Software development or Business studies or Economics
