Senior IT Technician/Network Manager

Location: South West London-Full Time Onsite-5 Days Per Week-No home working
Job Type: 3-6 Month Contract-Possibility to go permanent thereafterJoin a dynamic educational environment as a Senior IT Technician/Network Manager. In this role, you will manage network systems, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and support both staff and students to ensure the efficient and effective running of IT systems at a prominent school in South West London.

Day-to-day of the role:

Provide technical support to staff and students, resolving IT issues promptly and effectively.
Manage and maintain the school's hardware, software, and network systems.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot various educational technologies and equipment.
Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
Ensure the security of IT systems and data through regular updates and backups.
Collaborate with the teaching staff to integrate technology into classroom activities.
Perform routine maintenance, updates, and system monitoring.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as an IT Technician or Network Manager, preferably in an educational setting.
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and system administration.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Experience with educational technologies and classroom integration.
Knowledge of IT security practices and data protection.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
