Job Description

Role: Senior DevOps Engineer x3

Location: Hybrid – home based with some travel to South Wales Head Office

Salary: £40 – 49K + a comprehensive range of Employee Benefits, (including 27% Employer contribution Pension, flexible working, 30 days holiday allowance, free parking etc.)

Our Client: Our Client is a Government Agency, with over 1,000 Employees delivering essential commercial data services to UK businesses.

Role Summary:

Supporting and developing automation of DevOps services to support a 'continuous delivery' approach.
Working with teams of Developers in a Scrum environment. Participating in daily stand-ups.
Design and develop infrastructure as code, source code repositories, and CI/CD pipelines to execute change in cloud environments, working with Technical Architects to translate designs into operations.The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:


2+ years' experience in a DevOps environment, building, administering and supporting automation solutions.
Strong experience with Terraform, Unix / Bash and Github
Experience with Cloud based solutions, (AWS OR Azure)
Experience working with Developers / Technical Architects to put designs into operation
Experience developing infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines, (ie Jenkins, Concourse)
Information Security – understanding of principles
Strong problem solver, initiate and monitor actions to investigate patterns to resolve problems
Strong knowledge of Ansible OR Docker beneficial

** You must have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years with no extended periods outside of the UK in that time to be eligible for the necessary security vetting for these roles
